Carol Es in the National Museum of Women in the Arts
Los Angeles artists, Carol Es announces that her handmade Artists' book, All Done But None, was accepted into the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC. The acquisition was facilitated by George Billis Gallery Los Angeles, and made possible by a generous donation from the collection of actress, Ann Savage, known best as the original femme fatale of Independent film noir in the 1940s. The book was painstakingly handwritten and illustrated in watercolor and ink, making each a total original work of art. This 32-page hardcover book is covered in starched linen, and stitch bound with a slipcover. For more information on Es' book, visit: http://esart.com/book/alldone.
