JAI's Sister Organization the Jewish Art Salon Presents "Seduced by the Sacred"
Jewish Art Salon’s “Seduced by the Sacred” Exhibit to Open in Hartford, Connecticut
Exhibit runs from October 3 - November 20, 2010
Greater Hartford will have a special visit from the Jewish Art Salon as they present their newest exhibit, Seduced by the Sacred: Forging a Jewish Art, co-curated by Richard McBee and Joel Silverstein. This two month-long art exhibit features artists who have been moved by the idea of the Sacred in their work, including concepts of Divinity and or the Sublime. It is the love and the sense of the forbidden that comprise the unique faith of the Jewish artist.
