Artist Statement

I have been making abstract paintings, artists' books, installations, and photographs since 1975. My work has slowly become more gestural and related to the landscape. This body of work reflects my interest in religious practices and the supernatural. I maintain studios in Santa Monica, California and Menemsha, Massachusetts.
